Purpose and Objectives:
The function of the Board is to act as the legislative body for the Excelsior/Kings River Resource Conservation District, which has been been formed for the control of runoff, the prevention or control of soil erosion, the development and distribution of water, and the improvement of land capabilities in the District.
Membership Composition
To be appointed as a Director, a person must meet the following requirements:
- Must be a registered voter in the State of California,
- Reside within the District and either own real property in the District or alternatively have served, pursuant to the district’s rules, for two year or more as an Associate Director providing advisory or other assistance to the Board of Directors or,
- Be a designated Agent of a resident landowner within the District
